added support for cable orientation! this is probably the last update i will do for this app, as im concentrating on serialXP now. if you ahve any problems with serialXP, and can live without MIDI, serialiodotnet is probably the best choice.

serialiodotnet is up to v2 already. i have made this a full upgrade due to the amount of new features and improvements. heres a list of new features:
-improved GUI, with pretty graphics! -virual 40h mouse-controls: ->left button creates /box/press events ->right button creates /box/led events -improved test functions -on startup, you can choose OSC ports -if you select to save OSC and COM ports in file-menu, your selections will be saved in the registry for next time -more organized/readable sourcecode -many smaller performance and code enhancements
i still have to add on the /box/adc and /box/adc_enable functions for 2.1, that will come soon. thanks for trying this out, again i hope you enjoy it!
current version 2.0: Attached serialiodotnet_2.0Original (SERIALIODOTNET 1.0): serialiodotnet is not exactly a port of serialio (for OSX/Mac), but another version entirely, for use on Windows XP, using the .NET runtime enviornment. it was coded 100% in Visual C# 2005 Express Edition, which is free software offered by Microsoft (to entice you to buy there more expensive Visual Studio, although the freebie is quite nice!).
to run this, you need the .NET 2.0 runtime library, you may already have this on your machine, but if not it can be found at: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=0856eacb-4362-4b0d-8edd-aab15c5e04f5&displaylang=en
included is the .exe and the source-code/visual studio 2005 project files. the .exe can also be found in the project folder/bin/release (the version in the /bin/debug will also work). if anyone is intersted in working more on this and knows any C#, feel free. if you are currently using ,NET 1,0, download the free C#/visual studio 2005 express edition.
